Christmas Trees

Janet gave an interesting evening on the 30th of November on using up scraps of wool by turning them into Christmas Trees! No needles required, just pieces of cardboard cut into triangles and covered with double sided tape to hold the wool in place.  The end results were very good!  The trees didn’t take long to make and were very nice when finished.

Our scheduled sugar crafting on Friday the 7th was cancelled because the speaker had hurt her hand.  Lillian and Christine filled the evening by showing us how to make Christmas trees from squares of felt or foam.  We all went home with more Christmas tree ornaments!

Our yearly Christmas party is next week (the 15th).  Please bring a Secret Santa gift (don’t spend more than £3 and buy it from a charity shop!)  Please bring a plate and glass.  We will be playing games and doing a quiz.  Hope to see you there!
